I should return this yeah?
Try cleaning it first: isopropanol alcohol on some cloth (an LTTSTORE.COM T-shirt appears suitable, if Linus is to be believed ) gently rubbing the affected spots. Don’t force anything!
I kinda don’t want to. I’ve only unboxed. It’s not as pictured in the listing and installing it or trying to clean it could make it worse and then they blame me for it.

Fair point, send it back then.
I caved to temptation and broke out the isopropyl alcohol, alcohol wipes & q-tips.
Booted fine w/ that 1 stick and the memory profile showed the correct timings. The whole set passed Winblowz Memory Diagnostic twice and PC has shown no instability. So yeah I was over reacting…
I find it neat that the Galaxy S10+ can almost be used as a microscope. Before & after below.

If the dimms were not a very good deal, I’d return them. Those pins are likely going to corrode further as the gold protective layer has been partially worn away, so the copper underneath will continue to oxidize further. It may not happen within a year or two, but I am pretty confident that after multiple insertion/removal cycles, those 2 contacts will be gone.
Do you know if there is a non-conductive gel or something similar that could help protect them?
