I'm new here and I am building a full on gaming PC soon for my birthday and I do not want to screw this up. I'm mostly scared of the CPU going in wrong and the H80i failing because I built it wrong. Should I be scared? I've watched many videos of building PC's and study them hard. Any tips? or suggestions? Anything? All Comments Welcome. :D
No you shouldn't be worried. Building a PC is very easy.
The CPU can be a little scary if you have an Intel part because when you lower the clamp it makes a crunching sound but at long as you lined up that triangle you'll be good to go. AMD's ZIF sockets are easy as hell. Just slot it in and close the leaver.
Don't worry about the H80. It comes all put together. Just mount the fans, pop it into the case and attach it to the CPU. Fairly simple.
You'll be fine. Just take your time and don't rush it. If you're not certain about something, watch some build guides on youtube. That'll help.
It's easy! Nothing to screw up really unless you drop the CPU and you step on it!
Don't be scared! Just pay special attention to the CPU installation and you'll be fine from there on out!
Enjoy this moment of building your very first PC!
YOU SHOULD BE SCARED SHIT.
Nah just kidding, Its easy its like matching puzzles, you plug A to A and F to F and if you think that plug's shape its not the same then its probably not that plug so yea.
And you should know how to read as well.
