Building my first 800 euros budget gaming pc.

So Ill keep it short. Im trying to build a 800 euro pc (saying euro since im in germany and prices are different) which right now is at 800 on my own list and 855 on pc part picker… Id appreciate if you could look thru my list and maybe theres some stuff to swap out or maybe u think the list is good. Me personally Im pretty happy with the CPU, GPU, Case and the cooler since those are the best options I see. In my list theres no PSU included since I couldnt seem to find a good relieable psu for a cheap price. If that exists. If not tell me other options. If you seem to find some better alternitives for some parts let me know I would really appreciate it! Best is if you could go onto german sites and even better if u are german. A good site to research the german prices is Geizhals.de. You dont have to do that tho, since Ill at least get an idea or the prices are very similar. I appreciate every answer I get… Heres the list : Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Radeon RX 6700, NZXT H5 Flow ATX Mid Tower - PCPartPicker . Also it says the motherboard isnt compatible with the CPU but I cant seem to find the issue? I think there isnt even one. Have a good day

The ASRock B550M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard supports the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor with BIOS version P1.20. If the motherboard is using an older BIOS version, updating the BIOS will be necessary to support the CPU.

From the link you provided.

I would pick a cpu with the boxed cooler to save the money.
Also, don’t cheap on the power supply. A 80+ Gold is a must. I am still using 650W 80+ Gold power supply from 10 years ago.

Gold is just an efficiency rating, it is not an overall measure of quality, nor should it be as “80-Plus” is an organization that can be easily bought off.

Not idea but it all comes down to cast (I’d like to spend a bit more a better motherboard and another stick of RAM but again, budget constraints)

If you follow PC Komponenten Angebote ➡️ Jetzt günstig kaufen | mydealz you might find a few better deals but it may take a while.

Beastly beginner machine, and close enough to my secondary, minus the insane cost for the case  Will serve you fine with some room to upgrade easily. Seriously though, see if you can stretch the budget a bit for a nicer case!

You could probably swap out the 5600x for a 5600 including a cooler and save a decent junk of change, you can see them for barely over 100eur at times. The stock cooler is probably enough for the little thing.
You will also find decent cases for cheaper too, unless you have your heart set on that particular one. As for a PSU, corsair has decent ones in the VS (very basic) and CV/CX series, which have been solid for lower power builds, bequiet, seasonic, silverstone and coolermaster have cheap basic options as well, and are pretty trusted brands. You shouldn’t have issues with these cheaper PSU’s unless you are pushing them right to the limit and beyond.

The motherboard compatibility issue is just because the MB is older than the cpu, all retail boards now will probably have the bios updated to a later version that supports zen 3, altho I wouldn’t be surprised if amazon did not.

The 6700 is pretty sweet if you can get it for that price. :ok_hand: The cheaper options are not much cheaper right now anyway. :frowning:
Maybe you can take the savings from the 5600 etc. and get a 32gb kit of ram, as I feel that is becoming the mainstream. Definitely don’t get a single stick as that will put you in a position where you have to upgrade as soon as possible to get stock performance.
I wouldn’t think too much about upgradability with these lower end systems anyway, but there are certainly lots of options for the am 4 platform if you can find a good deal down the road.

That’s a good deal given the amount of memory but will strain your budget

Same goes for ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI (ASUS eShop) | mydealz

Hey!

I’d say it’s pretty decent build, not knowing exactly what kind of games you play. It should hold up just fine though for majority of games.
The motherboard thing they’re complaining about is BIOS version and how it has to be updated. I don’t know if these days you need previous generation CPU to do it but it doesn’t seem like it, since you can just flash it from USB drive.
In terms of PSU, I generally go with any reputable name brand, semi modular and at the very least 80+ bronze. Gold rating gets expensive very fast. I also go about double the wattage of what i need for future proofing.
