Questions for r/buildapc

Is RX 6600 the best GPU in this price range for editing & gaming, or should I go NVIDIA for CUDA?
Will a 600W PSU be enough for future upgrades?
Is the ASUS Prime B660M-K D4 a good motherboard, or should I pick MSI PRO B660M-A?
Are there any major bottlenecks or better alternatives within ₹50K?

First of all @Saprana_Gaming -

GPUs and CPUs have power spikes, that could exceed, their listed TDP ratings
That total power jump, could exceed the PSU [esp. whenever upgrades happen]
Would be safer, in bumping power AND quality tier [+ the Warranty period extends]

Asus Prime and MSi Pro series, are good enough functionally [Had 0 issues, in either tier]
May wanna look into, an additional M.2 stick, for a bulk drive [gaming / videos]

Either listed case, I would NOT vouch on-- Both appear VERY closed off [ventilation wise]
The following cases, would be viable [+ are inc. fans, from the jump]
) Lian Li: Lancool 207 or 011 Air Mini
) Phanteks: XT Pro Ultra or XT View,
) Fractal Design: Pop Air [reg. or XL] or Focus 2

if you live close to Bangalore, mumbai or Delhi. there is thriving used market and the rx6600 goes for around 12k.

should go for nvidia for CUDA or just stay with amd for editing i use AE and permeir a lot?

i am sorry i live a bit far down in tamil nadu so i am not near any of those places

Hi @Saprana_Gaming Just wanted to leave a note here, since you’ll receive a notification: I edited your post to change only the category; I’ve moved it to Build a PC where you’ll hopefully get more eyeballs on the thread!

Best of luck with your build!

since you mentioned Blender you will have to stick with Nvidia. stretch and try to get 4060ti.

photoshop and After effects will run fine on a 1650 too. but do upgrade to 32gb of ram when you can.

there is some benefit to using Intel igpu acceleration via quicksync. but nvidia cards are faster.
