I’m getting ready to start a major upgrade of the home - lab/production server. The current setup is long overdue as the idle Linux load is ~3.0 since the hardware is so underpowered for the needed load.
This is mainly going to be a hardware swap. But I plan to do an OS upgrade to 18.04 first for better hardware support. I also run the Ubuntu HWE Linux kernel to better hardware support.
