Bugs with skyrim

I just finished my Gaming/Productivety rig with a Titan. it works well, but i have a few bugs with Skyrim in particular.

mountain and water flickering: when i'm out doors, when i'm near water it flickers. Same thing with mountains in the far distance.

flickering noise: only in Skyrim, some times often acompanied with the flickering. My headphones make this electronic "RRRRRRRR" sound

Animal flicker. At distance i notice animals flickr and jump around over the place, chickens spawn in mid air.

I just want to note that i use the latest nVidia drivers for Titan. I have a 3.5GHz i7-3770k. Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit with a ASUS Maximus V extreme with the latest BIOS.

Any solution that come foreward would be appreciated

Do you have any mods that might be causing this? If not, have you tried re-installing the game. It might have gotten corrupted somehow.

so just delete it on steam and reinstalling? No i have not done that!

There is an option in the Steam Library menu to delete to local content of a game (you have to right click on the game). I would personally make a copy of the save material just to be safe (I make copies of shit a lot before messing with anything, call me paranoid). Then tell Steam to re-download and install it. If that fixes your problem, great. If it doesn't, come back and hopefully someone will have some other thoughts on it.
Aside from re-installing it, or messing with any mods (which you don't have, if I'm not mistaken), I can't personally think of anything. Others on the forum might though, so report back after it re-installs.

i don't have mods. Reinstalling it now. And can it be a driver issue? that the drivers i'm using isn't the best for the game?

I highly doubt it. If you correctly installed the latest drivers, it shouldn't be an issue. It is possible that if you used beta drivers that they aren't quite stable, but if you are only having problems in Skyrim, then it isn't the drivers. It sounds like it isn't loading the textures properly, based on what you've described. How to remedy that though... I'm not quite sure. I'm hoping that something just didn't get installed correctly the first time around.

I noticed the problems in skyrim. I loaded up last light, no problems there

Re: water flicker and buzz noise --

Are you using a 120hz (or higher) monitor?  I had this issue.  Apparently one of the causes can be that Skyrim (as a console port) has some bugginess with framerates that exceed 60 FPS.  I solved this by using EVGA Precision tool to limit FPS to 60 (very simple to do, just tick off a box and 'apply').  This completely got rid of water flicker and noise, which were terribly annoying.

yes i have a 120hz BenQ XL2420T

i'll bet that's the problem -- use the EVGA Precision and see if it solves it --

i got the asus card. still gonna work? i know that it is na stupid question

You could also set the in-game vsync to 60hz, if you are more comfortable doing that. Hopefully, that will solve your problem.

thanks for the advice

not a stupid question -- my instinct was "sure" but on second thought, not so sure.  Asus probably has a utility for fine-tuning your GPU, which you could check out at the Republic of Gamers site perhaps --

Or maybe the V-Sync setting is the simplest option -- I'd be curious to hear if that works --

Did you ever get things fixed?

Have had other things to do. But i will do it

is this how you do it, but just the oppositte?
