I'm thinking about upgrading my HDD and getting a SSD, what is the best budget SSD, i don't want to spend a fortune. I want around 256GB or 240GB.
honestly just watch, newegg.com, tigerdirect.com, or ncix.com(or.ca) and wait for their deals get on their respective mailing lists if you can some may still be doing holiday deals if not new things pop up daily and weekly
Kingston's ssdnow series is usually cheaper without sacrificing much quality, only ssds I've seen go down to .50/gb lately, just have to keep an eye out for sales, I got mine for $60/120gb
also the kingston hyperX 3K are cheap, or the A-data sp900 or SX900.
