Does anyone else have this BSOD issue with Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0?
As soon as I start RGB Fusion 2.0 I get a BSOD, or with an “atikmdag.sys” error “critical system” error and even a “critical process died” error. When you get RGB Fusion 2.0 to work and set it to start with Windows and you get the BSOD then your in really deep s***! Checking Event viewer gives me only de “1001 Bugcheck”. To set the RGB on my motherboard, X570 Aurus Master, I have to use RGB Fusion 2.0. The only thing you can do is to restore your system, when you get in to the “critical system died” loop you can do nothing else than re-install Windows. I have this issue with Windows 10 1809 and 1903. When I check online I read that many other users have the same issue. For now I stop using RGB Fusion 2.0, there is no alternative besides an SDK that I found but I can’t get it to work. If needed I can provide the Dump files. Maybe you have an answer for this.
