I flashed the newest fw and bios onto the board, it is in IT mode. I am connecting the drives to the board with CableCreation Internal Mini SAS SFF-8643 to (4) 29pin SFF-8482 connectors with SAS 15pin Power Port cables. (I bought the same thing for the sata drives and they work). Im not sure what else to do. Ive tried each drive individually, with each cable in different ports on the HBA and with everything else unplugged. Any help would be awesome.
Power the drives off of molex connectors.
There is also a way to tape of a connector on the SATA power plugs, but I found the use of molex connectors easier.
