Bluetooth not working

Hi all,

Is anyone good with Linux bluetooth?

I’m having issues getting my new adapter to work. It says it is a realtek RTL8761B…Version 5.1

I have been through all the steps here - Bluetooth - ArchWiki without any success, and tried various posts i’ve seen on putting firmware in lib/firmware/rtl_bt.

I’ve also tried the AUR packages without success

Strangely, it did detect my headset for about an hour last night, though it stopped shortly after that without changing any settings

Seems to work fine on windows, though I did have to find a separate driver, as the one with the CD did not work

Just noticed how I managed to get it working.

Oddly passing it to my working windows VM and back, the HCI version drops. That is when it started to work.
