Blue Yeti x setup on Mint

Hi everyone, Just got a Blue Yeti x microphone for my system running Linux mint. The system detected the device fine, but when I went to hangouts to test the mic, the other person on line said my voice was too soft. I tried adjusting the gain but it did not help much. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for how to adjust this in software and which software to use. I am new to streaming and I am looking to do some podcast like recording and maybe some on line streaming.

Did you adjust the physical gain or the gain in Pulse?

Because the mic itself has an amplifier in it.

I suspect your issue is that the mic itself doesn’t have the gain setup properly.
