Blue Snowball iCE microphone

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Blue Snowball iCE microphone? I am currently looking for a standalone microphone that isnt too expensive and that will be perfect for what im doing, im just going to be streaming and recording some games. My current headsets microphone has a lot of white noise in my recordings and in skype

I currently have my PC next to me and the case fans arent really loud but are noticeable if you are in my room and have a mini fridge that every so often gets loud that is a couple of feet away.

I dont want any of that noise to get picked up through the mic but if i had to i could find a away to put my pc on the ground and still be able to access it easily and if i do move my PC i would have room for the mic on my desk.

If anyone has any experience with any microphones under $50 then just tell me please so i can check them out.

The blue snowball ice is from my understanding pretty much the same quality as the standard snowball except it only has the main cardioid mode and the stand isn't as nice. I wouldn't be afraid of getting the ice since it has the mode you would most likely be using but the standard snowball can be had for just 10 dollars more and its just a bit more versatile.
