Blue screens please help!

Been getting many blue screens from various games, (Planetside 2, Loadout, and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon phantoms) but in other games my computer has no blue screens, (Garry's Mod, Warthunder, Company of hero's, and Team Fortress 2). Ive tried updating my video card drivers, CPU drivers but to no avail. After researching the stop codes I think they are all RAM related, so I used the windows memory diagnostic, within 2% of starting the test it said the memory was bad, so I switched my memory from slots 1 and 3 to 2 and 4, and reran the test 2 times with no problems. Few minuets later I get a blue screen. I really don't know what to do any more if anyone has any advice that would be wonder full. Note: I have not overclocked anything on my PC, this is also my first build I did so im new to a lot of the terms.

I would suggest going into your Bios and downclocking your RAM and seeing if that helps. Sometimes the ram you buy is set at  a speed that is unstable with some systems or games. It might also be your ram slots on your MB, I know my ram slots on my MB are borked, my 3 and 4 slots are pretty much dead so i can't run my RAM in duel channel mode or have more than two sticks, my system will only post when my ram are in slots 1 and 2.

Thanks! Will try to down clock my ram.

i would check the HD also.

I went into my BIOS and saw that my RAM was clocked at 1.150V (lowest it can go on my board). So I moved it up to 1.155V, would that do the trick or should I go higher? How would I check my HD? Do you have a perferred test that you like to put it through? Thanks!

1.15v is incredibly low for DDR3 RAM

Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM should run at 1.5v

  • Voltage 1.5V

Try loading the XMP profile on the RAM.  It should run just fine on its XMP profile.

Just got that suggestion from a post I made on reddit. Tried it out and have not had any problems so far. Thanks!
