Blue Screen + Kernel-Power Event 41 HELP!

I’m running into Blue Screens nearly every time I go to fire up a game. Doing normal tasks like browsing the web, typing documents, ect it runs just fine. The second I go to launch a game, Blue Screen, then Black Screen, then restart. It will continue to BS into a loop until the windows trouble shooter pops up, and I click restart from there. Sometimes games work, and sometimes they throw a blue screen…

When I go to Event Viewer, I’m presented with Event ID 41 Kernel Power. This is a new build, less than a month old and it’s been nothing but issues. Where do I go to start troubleshooting what could be causing the issues??

Kernel-Power Error 41 occurs when your system shuts down unexpectedly and fails to restart properly. This error can be caused by various issues, such as faulty hardware like damaged RAM or a failing hard drive, an insufficient or broken power supply, overclocking, outdated BIOS or drivers, or corrupt system files.

  • To fix the issue, first check and replace any faulty hardware. Ensure your power supply is sufficient, and consider using a UPS.

  • If overclocking is enabled, disable it in the BIOS. Running the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool can help identify RAM problems.

  • Updating your BIOS to the latest version, uninstalling problematic software, and running SFC and DISM scans to repair corrupt system files may also resolve the issue.

What power supply do you have? I don’t think that is the issue but it is at least a starting point.

The mostly likely scenario is an unstable overclock or boost, or memory issues.

Does your system also crash when running prime95?

You could also try reading out the memory dumps.

I prefer using windbg, but you could also whocrashed from resplendence, which might be a bit more user friendly.
