Black Screen GTX1080 pass through from arch to windows

I followed GitHub - joeknock90/Single-GPU-Passthrough and this https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PCI_passthrough_via_OVMF.

When I try to run everything manually from SSH I get this and a black screen. I am able to start the VM without passing through a GPU by removing the GPU from the XML re-adding the spice server and all that and renaming the hooks. VM starts up normally if I do this so the VM itself is working

from googling(and asking) around it seems this might be an issue with my AGESA version which is AMD AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.3. Unfortunately, there isn’t a newer version for my board that supports my 2600x (asrock supposedly removed older cpu support in bios versions after 3.50)
