Black Friday/Cyber Monday

So, I am looking into building a new pc and with cyber monday and Black Friday coming up I was wondering when the best time to buy pc parts.

These are the specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/doughnut112/saved/2Q6K

Do you have a CPU?

Why are you getting a liduid cooler with a 9370 it comes with onr, and if your reason is that you want that cooler you may as well go for thar cooler and a 8350.

Please.  Answer at least the first couple questions.

I don't have a cpu. I was going to get the 9370 with the cooler because of the double rad. But if the 9370 are similar then I will get that instead.

Budget: less that 2000

Location: USA

I have no peripherals

I will be using it for gaming and a little school work.

I don't plan on using any custom water cooling.  At most it would be cpu and gpu loop.

I need an os.

I want to get as much  faster as possible.

I play mostly aaa titles.

I would like to play at 1080p1080p

Wow! Thank you so much. I had no idea that I could get all of that for that price. Is there a particular advantage to getting both graphics cards now, other than performance? Or will it be okay and easy to find this exact card in a few months?

Also is it possible to get the 8350 to 9370 clocks with that motherboard?

Basically merged Tech Noob's silent and performance build if you wanted a great hybrid.  With this motherboard and cooler, you can easily beat the 9370's clocks and beyond.  Easy ultra settings on 1080p games.

Crossfire reference 290's?  Are you trying to make him go deaf and burn down his house? lol jk.

Well, they're blower style coolers and at least won't suck up the air from each other.

They have essentially the same performance as a GTX 780, but at a price point of 400 bucks.

And I'm not going to deny that they're going to run loud.

Really depends on your CPU and how much it likes overclocking.  Getting a nice motherboard will always help, though.

The noise isn't really an issue for me. I wear a headset when ever I am using my computer heavily. That is the only way I can get anything done my sister is very loud!

What are the advantages and disadvantages to getting an amd or nvidia graphics card?

nVidia usually has better optimized drivers, but is more expensive hardware-wise.

AMD has nice hardware for the money, and their drivers aren't as optimized.  However, AMD has been a lot better with the drivers recently.

R9 290 is pretty much equivalent to the GTX 780.  They have a over a $100 price difference.  The R9 290 is "designed" to run at 95c though, so it'll be quite a toasty card compared to the 780.  AMD usually has a price advantage over nVidia.

Okay is black Friday the best price that I am going to get or could I wait until after Christmas and still get a good price?

Look around the web today and check out the prices.  If there's a deal sitting in front of you and you know that product, take it.

Everything's about timing when catching deals.
