BL2K8G32C16U4W Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 best timings?

whats the best timings to run

my 2 x sets of BL2K8G32C16U4W Crucial Ballistix 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200

at 29.33mhz with 1.25v on a aorus b450m mobo with 2600x

my current settings are 1.25v 16-18-18-24-36 at times it seems good other times not

im not currently running with xmp enabled both on or off didnt give any noticeable stability increase

id like to know if anyone has this ram an mobo an cpu

an what your timings are that are working for you at either speeds 2933 , 3200 or oc’ed any high

Try cranking it up to 1.35v I usually keep my ddr4 at 1.39 that’s rated for 1.35

Generally 1.39 is safe for all ddr4

ok an any thoughts on timings

Try enabling XMP, then set it to 2933, then change the voltage to 1.39v
You have a gigabyte board and while gigabyte isn’t a bad mob brand, their bios QA is somewhat lacking

Often xmp will not change voltage automatically and manually changing bios doesn’t do anything the first time, you’ll want to try setting and saving changes multiple times

The reason why you’re probably having problems is you have it set to 1.25v when it’s a 1.35v kit

See if that’s stable then we can try 2 things, first trying to get that kit to 3200mhz, which may or may not be possible depending on the silicon quality of your particular 2600

If we can’t get 3200 then we’ll work on lowering the timings to say 16-16-16-32

Also check and see if you can get command rate to 1
