Bios problems after update

Hi everybody

So I had to update a friends BIOS to be able to activate TPM 2.0.

I chose to update via Internet.
The Bios update worked all the way threw and everything seemed ok. But after rebooting it did not enter the Bios or Windows but keeps going to the error display where I can press F1 to get insidethe Bios. If I restart it tries to start 2-3x (Displsy stayes blank) and then it goes back to the error screen. I can boot to windows via the bios and then it boots correctly.

Hardware:
CPU i9 9900K
MB: Asus Strix Z390 Gaming

What I tried:

  • Reset Bios to factory defaults
  • Remove the GPU

What could be wrong? The system worked just fine with the old bios.
What canI do?

whats the error?.
if you can get into the bios then the update worked.
you likely just need to set the drive boot order. (especially if the errors. cant find a suitable boot device)

also if a pc saves from bios and exits then restarts. the screen lights up but doesnt show the spash and restarts again followed by 2-3 restarts. you memory and system devices are being found and logged and your memory is likely training *the cpu is trying to figure out the timings because no xmp is set?.
