Best wireless gaming mouse-Expert recommendations to choose

I have been researching the best wireless gaming mouse because my old one finally gave up on me right before finals week, and I need something reliable that can handle both long gaming sessions and everyday productivity without lag or connection issues.

Lately I have been experiencing input lag, random disconnects, and tracking issues, especially during fast-paced games. Even basic tasks like browsing or editing felt inconsistent, which has been really frustrating.

After going through reviews and user feedback from trusted sources like TechRadar, Reddit gaming forums, and YouTube reviewers, these three wireless gaming mice consistently came up as top choices

FFJ Wireless Gaming Mouse

Redragon Wireless Gaming Mouse

Now I am having a hard time deciding which one would be best for my needs, so I would really appreciate some expert advice and hopefully some gamers or IT folks here can share their experiences.

For context:

  • I usually game 4–5 hours straight (FPS and action games mostly)

  • I also use my mouse heavily for video editing and general productivity

  • I carry my setup between home and campus, so comfort, battery life, and portability matter

  • I want low latency, solid build quality, and reliable wireless performance

If you have used any of these mice or have suggestions on which would be the better long-term option I would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks in advance

In all seriousness, productivity mice may impact gaming negatively

  • I use a Logitech G Superlight for gaming, and I love it for that, but when I have to scroll it’s such a pain to use
  • I also have a Logitech MX Master 3S that I love for productivity, and I can use it to navigate everywhere - but the weight is so annoying for gaming, and I run my screens at 120Hz, so it works decently, but it’s not going to feel smooth at higher refresh rates

So you gotta list more factors about your setup (Screen Refresh rate, productivity aops you use) if you want your mice to balance both. Plus you’ve mentioned brands, but not the actual products you’re looking at. If you’re looking for a blanket recommendation though: look into Keychron stuff. They’re cheap and decent, but may not have the best feel.

I had a Logitech G502 and replaced it with the G502x Lightspeed Wireless version last year.
It comes with weights and the dongle can be stored inside of the mouse.
The only thing I don’t like is the USB + Charging cable is not USB-C. Logitech gives you a proprietary cable.

I love it. No complaints in operation for games and design.
Except for the $100 price.
