Best headset for around 50 euros

I need a new headset since my Philips SHP2000 broke yesterday. I want to pay around 50 euros (max 60) and it'd be nice if there is mic on it. The mic doesn't have to be great quality or anything.

When I looked around a bit I found the Platronics Gamecom 780 (55 euros)  and the one that Logan reviewed; the logitech G230 (60 euros).Does anyone have experience with these headsets?  

I'll be using them primarily for gaming, but also for music and videos. and just FYI, I don't have a sound card, I'm just using the onboard audio from my ASRock Z77 Extreme4.

I have heard nothing but great things about the Plantronics Gamecom 780, I would have bought them if I hadn't gotten a deal on ebay for Turtle Beaches for $20.

Yeah, I've also heard a lot of good things about them. I do have a question about them; are there any USB to 3.5mm stereo jacks? Just on the off chance that I want to use it for my iPod.

Has anyone else got a good suggestion, or are the Plantronics way to go?
