should i get the USB version on the normal version coz i have a 5.1 onboard sound card. i hear the 5Hv2 brake easy ,one side stops working randomly. Â and are surround sound headphones better than stereo for CS:S

Get the normal version with the headphone jacks etc. USB might be nice but jacks are better.

the Siberias arnt 5.1, good luck finding a good 5.1 headset in your range, look at the Cyber Snipa Sonars, they are 60 and they are 5.1, but Ive heard mixed reviews about them.

Virtual surround, with out it it's regular stereo, I have (had) them and the stereo is fine no point in the stupid ass expensive ones with the 7.1 card.

i wouldn't say the best.... cuz "best" is very objective...Â but its a good choice.

it's good for gaming but some people say it sucks for music (but when i tried it for music, sounds ok to me... not the best but it is OK)

Sennheiser HD515 + Zalman Clip-on mic > every gaming headset (except beyerdynamic and sennheiser pc 350)

if you want to spend more take the HD555 instead of the 515.

if you don't dig loose mics take the sennheiser PC350, it's a bit expensive though (round 100 bucks)

I hear from my friend that the Sennheisers are very good headphones. He's an audiophile himself, so I trust what he has to say about the Sennheisers. My friend has the HD515's.
