I’m almost done building myself a nice dual Xeon workstation (I would’ve gone Ryzen except the dual Xeon machine I started from was free, so all I had to do was buy a case and mod it slightly) and up to this point I’ve had a desktop-replacement laptop and thus didn’t really need a card reader or anything like that since I had the laptop right there. With the new desktop I’m planning to put it a little more out of the way so I’m hoping I can find a nice looking little “connection” box to go on my desk.
I want a couple USB 3.0 ports and the usual SD card reader type slots. The big thing is I want it to look pretty good (don’t need Lian Li quality, but don’t want a cheap Best Buy USB hub either), I want it to be built to sit on a desk, and I want it to be a good phone charger. I’m guessing that means it’ll need some external 5v power supply.
Suggestions?
