On Friday, I tried air frying burgers, as I saw grocery store butcher had burgers and steak. I find that burgers are much less work and faster compared to steak (where I need to let it warm up to room temperature. The first was a angus cheddar burger and the second was a bacon angus cheddar burger.
I followed this part of the guide,
Close the air fryer and set it to 380 degrees, and 5 minutes. After the time is up, carefully flip the burgers over. Close and set for 3-5 more minutes. Check doneness after 3 minutes, and add more time as desired
My burgers came out medium rare. In the future, I would add an extra minute after flipping the two patties. I also found out that pretzel buns don’t need to be toasted to hold their shape. The ale complimented the meat, cheese, and bun.
On Saturday, I air fried my steak for 9 minutes flipping it at the 4 minute mark. The butcher said that filleting it would make it fall apart, and assured me that the steak would cook fine. He was quite right about the result
I think the combination of not eating anything and 6.7% alcohol content made me feel very tipsy. The coffee/toffee flavor was alright, but It might have gone better with the burger.
