At this point I think the issue is with microsoft. It is really stupid that I have to sign in with a microsoft account just to update my controller drivers.
I hope that the new steam controller will be less painful. I’m not super thrilled that the batteries are sealed in the controller.
The only reason why I still use the xbox controller is because it is the only first party controller that still uses AA batteries.
