Be a good GNU/Linux advocate on these forums

Not quite, my friend. I do dabble in programming now and then. My comment was merely a joke. I like Manjaro. The person whom i was responding to prefers Arch.

We all have our needs and uses, and we use what works for us - with the knowledge of what that distro is capable of. I won't proclaim that i have tried them all, and thus i know best. I haven't, and i won't.

Learning about Linux and how it works? Yes, i am down for that, and am doing that at my own pace.

Good write up @Eden o7 fly safe little buddy.

Honestly I don't understand the entire My distro is better than your distro when literally all it takes to completely change how something works is installing some stuff and changing some settings. If you understand what you are doing you can make any distro work like any other distro. Install pacman or apt, have a different window manager.
