I like the moderation here.
Although bans can be overly long, the team generally has hands off in a lot of places, and does not step in very often.
I think the team here, do a great job.
On the other hand, perhaps there is less active mods here, and in fact, some of us get away with stuff because it may not be caught in time to stop the madness…

I’m new to the community and I saw that all that happen on the discord after getting the ping. I haven’t seen a discord with drama that juvenile in a long time. I left immediately. No reason to stick around when it’s the mods stirring up drama and antagonizing folks when they react.
I have never used Discord, and right now that is sounding like the right choice. 
Yeah its too much.

Left the discord a while back when someone tried to argue to me that Nazis were socialists and a couple others even agreed. Not sticking around where such blatant misinformation is tolerated.
well they were… its in the name. I had a discussion with somebody online once that they basically cherry picked the populous aspects from both sides to gain power. Ultimately they only cared about power.
but anywho… on discord I just adjust notification settings to ignore @everyone.
