Hi all. I’ve been running Linux Mint for about 6 months now, and overall it’s been great. However, I wanted to upgrade to a new webcam, and haven’t been able to get it working on the desktop I built. It’s a Razer Kiyo Pro (chosen because it has great low light performance). The confusing part is that the webcam does work on my Laptop, which has similar hardware, and the same OS (though, with much less stuff installed). I’ve tried all the different USB ports I have available, and some other things that honestly I forget now.
Currently, when I open guvcview, the settings window opens, but the display is just a black screen. After some time, there’s a popup that guvcview has stopped responding. Again, the webcam shows up fine on my laptop.
