ok so we put in a new GPU into an aurora r4 alienware and now the fans rev and the lights flash. The computer still starts up fine but will not stop flashing or its fan reving. also under the cpu moniter I am no longer getting temp specks from my cpu. But the system is not overheating.
What GPU? What other information can you give?
You know every time I post something on here I think I gave enough information, but I always seem to forget the little things. We were putting in a gtx 970, it was replacing a gtx 550. We think its a bios issue and are attempting a bios flash.

Umm, have you checked the drivers? There is a definite change in drivers from the 550 to a 970. Other than that I have no clue what the hell Alienware did.
lol that is how I feel Ailenware does some crazy stuff. But we did the bios update and it seems to be working fine. Thank you for your help.
