SQ5033758
1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Dual Monitor - Four Computer
USB Interface (5-gigabit or 10-gigbit):
10-gigbit
Problem:
Audio stuck on only playing out of PC1. Other inputs such as keyboard, 2 monitors all switch accordingly through to PC4, but audio still plays from PC1.
Other Notes:
Hello all! Had no issues with this unit for the 13 months of owning, I use this almost every day. This morning, audio wasn’t playing at all from any of the PC1-4 buttons. I unplugged the power temporarily and everything started to work again, but when I needed to switch to other PC inputs I noticed that audio was still playing from PC1. I cannot get audio to switch to any other profile.
Things I’ve tried:
I’ve unplugged everything, waited a couple minutes.
I’ve swapped audio cables. Eg. PC4 into PC1 input and audio will play from PC4, no matter what PC is selected as “active”
Whilst playing Skyrim I heard a beep and the audio appeared to turn on/off. Stumbled across the KVM commands on this forum, and, it looks like I had messed around with the audio port selection (you can guess what I was doing there ) … I may need to remap my L_CTRL if I cannot override KVM commands (or turn them off).
Posting the commands here again incase anyone else gets the same.
L_Ctrl, L_Ctrl, [1-4] - change port
L_Ctrl, L_Ctrl, F1 - auto scan ports
L_Ctrl, L_Ctrl, F2, [up, down arrows] - manual scan through ports
L_Ctrl, L_Ctrl, F3 - adjust scan rate
L_Ctrl, L_Ctrl, F5 - audio follows port selection
L_Ctrl, L_Ctrl, A - audio to current port
L_Ctrl, L_Ctrl, F7 - USB 3.2 follows port selection
Never noticed this happen before, I also previously had the 2 monitor 2 pc kvm for 6-8 months. Discovering new features late into ownership isn’t a bad thing
