i wasn't 100% sure what forum topic to put this in. So if its wrong feel free to change it.
Anyways. So i have had this problem for a long time know where if i have my computer on for a few hours and start listening to music the audio will start poping and crackling. The only way to fix this is to turn my pc off then on. I didn't think much of this for a while since i just kept turning my pc off then on to fix it if i wanted to listen to music on itunes. Recently I hooked my pc up to my big screen and hooked up my sound system into the motherboard. (reason I went all steam box is i wanted my tv and movies on my big screen). So anyways i started renting movies and buying tv shows on itunes and i noticed that the audio starts to lag after a few minutes. I thought this was rather odd. i then realized that if i restart my pc its fine.
I went online to the google and it told me to use a DPC latency checker to see if that's the problem. If anyone has had experience with this program I got all green and yellow bars and it said that my pc can handle live streaming. But I did this test right after i restarted my pc. So i will have to leave it on over night to see what I get.
The website i got this program said that if it does say you have problems is to go to device manager and disable all you audio things one by one to see what fixes it. One of my questions is under my device manager it shows my headset, realtek audio devices and AMD audio. Could it be that the AMD and the realtek are interfering with each other? Both the AMD and realtek are up to date.
Sorry for being so long winded. But if anyone can help me get rid of my audio problems that would be great, cause i really really want to be able to watch some ty without having to pause and start the show or restarting my pc all the time.
