Last i bought the the Asus X99-M WS/SE (BIOS version 3003) with the Intel i7 6800K and Corsair Vengeance® LPX 64GB (4x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C14 Memory Kit - Black (CMK64GX4M4A2400C14). Boot after installing the memory i got a post error 53 (missing or memory), I have reset the BIOS with the BIOS reset button, removing the BIOS batery After that i attempted the (8192MB DDR4/2133 Crucial CL15 CT8G4DFD8213) but with the same result error 53.
Post code 53 is a ram error. try reseating the ram and moving to different slots. if that fails than use a separate pc and run a memtest on it for a while.
Do you have a different CPU to test the whole system with? Preferrably something like 5820K. What I think is that the CPU you got might be having a dead memory controller inside, if you updated the BIOS and on the Asus site you've find the new Skylake 2011 CPU in the supported list of CPUs.
P.S. did you check all the connections in your system, just in case?
I got no spare CPU or 2011 mainboard, i have tested de memory on a ASRock H110M-HDS and all 4 Dimms are ok. I tested it with a Crucial 8GB 213Mhz Dimm that also works on the ASRock mainbord, but that one is also not recognized on the Asus mainboard. I have alrady sent a support requests to Corsair and Asus. and i will wait till i Hear from them about this problem.
I have the exact same problem, but with HyperX Savage DDR4 2400MHz 32GB tried updating the bios but it didn't seem to work. the button did not flash och anything.
anyone have a solution for this? or anything? I really want my new computer up and running. i have tried to contact @bit_tech_nl but no reply as of yet.
Problem solved after a month. A had send the main board back to the store and after a few weeks i got it back with the not it works fine. but with my CPU nothing. i contacted Asus in Germany becourse here in the netherland the had no answer for me. Asus RMA the board and now it works fine after my vacation. Sorry for the late reaction.
