silly question, does anyone know if the Asus Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI supports the 4.2GHz boost mode AMD Threadripper Pro 3995WX. The base clock , according AMD , for this CPU is 2.7GHz and the max boost clock is 4.2GHz.
If not, is there much point buying this motherboard for CPU so expensive as 3995WX, it the motherboard can’t really utilize the processor to its full potential?
Or is the clock speed something that is e.g. dynamically handled by the MB during CPU stress?
