Our rendering machine has two RTX 4090 GPUs, powered by a Corsair AX1600i.
However, we’ve been experiencing an issue where one of the GPUs fails to be detected every few days. Initially, we suspected that the issue might be due to using a Y cable to connect the board’s PCIE_PWR_1&2 to the PSU so we got two Corsair 600W PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR Type-4 cables. After using these, the system functioned without issues for a week.
However, following a power outage at our building yesterday, one of the 4090 GPUs is once again not being detected.
Above 4G Decoding and Re-Size BAR Support are enabled in the BIOS, but there are numerous other options listed under the BIOS PCI Subsystem Setting section that we’re not familiar with.
Does anyone have any insights into what might be causing this issue?
