I built a Threadripper 7960x pc using an Asus Hyper M.2 card with 4 4TB ssds. I keep having this problem where the D:Drive (Asus Hyper card drive) goes missing after restart. I have it in the right slot, and all 4 drives have been working for weeks and I will come in to work randomly and it will show the drive as missing.
Either a bad connection on the card, the drive is dying/faulty, or the drive is not making good connection how it is mounted.
Move the SSDs around and see if the same drive keeps going offline or if the drive in the same slot goes offline.
