Assassins Creed 4 Crashing All the Time

So whenever I play Assassins Creed 4 I get this crash. It happens about 30 seconds or so in the game. What happens is the screen freezes, then a weird audio glitch plays out (sort of like a robotic sound) then the game minimizes to desktop and stops responding. It happens all the time but more so on Jungle Islands.

Specs:

CPU- FX 8350 (not OC'd)

GPU- GTX 660 TOP (332.21 Driver)

RAM- Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600mhz

I've had crashes before and all it took for me is to verify the data. Have you tried this? Either that or a reinstall and make sure you have the latest patch
