I meant ipmi card in a thunderbolt pcie enclosure.
You and your apple products
Macmini ESXi cluster would be way better with them.
Got an email back from the ASRock Rack team ->
âThank you for your patience! According to product firmware engineering team, itâs said that the PAUL card works on all standard PCIe slot , and they are working on the documentation for this product and may release it soon. Thank you!â
Also, I canât say enough nice things about how fast they got back to me and how easy they were to work with!
Wow.
Iă»NEEDă»THIS
??? where did you get it from? are they for sale anywhere?
You want, or you have?
Iâm not saying some of us are jealous, but we would certainly be grateful for a review?
Also, if you could tell us whether you got it through commercial channels (I.e. internet shop) or through enterprise (from a vendor) or if you are a tester of parts. If you can tell us that is.
That may or may not be a bot based on recent postings.
Hey, you, ruining my dreams like the most sadistic of teachers⊠Do you also use a red pen of DOOM?
If you get word on release keep us in the loop
Scalpers probably will be all over this.
Anyone knows how much is the fish?
I donât think anyone knows what the MSRP will be as of yet. I think $100 is the sweet spot for this card but weâll see. Anything over that, it becomes too much of a dealbreaker. Iâm betting itâs $150 though. Might be worth it if you have a AM4 workstation that you absolutely love and have a x1 slot open for it.
I donât think this will be anywhere near 100$ considering IPMI is on 200$ boards⊠sure itâs a separate PCB but shouldnât be that expensive.
Got some here if youâre in Australia, bit more than I was expecting, hopefully because of poor currency conversionâŠ
Oh, two hundred dollarydooâs?
That must be three shillings and sixpence
does L1T have an AsRock Rack rep? i notice so many threads here for their new stuff and itâs itâs SMB/Enterprise/Home Lab friendly stuff.
Someone over on STH has a sample and has some comments on it working:
Could be done as a GPU/NIC combo and lack some system health monitoring like various voltages. Bam âuniversalâ.
Iâve got this card here in Australia.
(They arrived here new years day)
RRP $220 AU. (Inc GST)
Had it for two weeks now this card is great.
AMA!
Spoke to Asrock for a manual (as all they sent was just the card)
(1.5mb PDF, Single page, links not allowed atm it seems but handy if anyone wants a copy)
My mobo;
Gigabyte x570 Ultra Arorus.
32GB 3200mhz cl22 Ecc Ddr4 ram
Card is pretty good.
Got it as a suck it and see, while also eying off the pikvm project. Pretty handy to give any pc some IPMI facilities.
