Hello. This is a new Arch install with KDE. Installation was fine without issues. But after install the system tray icons are missing. Can you help me?
If you click on the triangle - do they not display in the popup?
If not - how did you install KDE? Did you install plasma-meta or some other way?

That’s why, plasma-desktop only installs the desktop packages with no extras. You don’t even get a file manager so all the icons you are looking for is included in packages that you didn’t install. I would recommend rather installing plasma (if you want to remove some unwanted packages later) or plasma-meta (if you want all of the kde packages - with the meta package all the packages update at the same time).
