APU with 650

So my friend wants to buy the parts listed on the cheap ass rig video and i have a 650 to add but will the APU but effected at all by adding the card or is their a better build using the card near the same price.

-video part list -

  • CPU: AMD A6-5400K 3.6GHz - 3.8 and can be overclocked  Dual-Core Processor  $69.98
  • Motherboard: ASRock FM2A75M-DGS Micro ATX  FM2 Motherboard  $55.98
  • Memory: Crucial Ballistix 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory  $24.99
  • Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 160GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  $39.99

  • Power Supply: Corsair Builder 430W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply  $35.99

Total: $245.29 (shipped)

I guess he has an old computer that he will be replacing with this. Rip out the hard drive and spend those 40$ on a CPU to pare with the 650.

If you use a gtx 650 the APU will just be used as a cpu the intergrated video will be disabled.

If you give him the 650 to use change the cpu to this --> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/13EoH

AMD Athlon II X4 750K 3.4GHz (4ghz turbo) its a A10-5700 with the intergrated video disabled hence why its cheaper $79.29 it will be a much faster cpu than the dual core A6
