I just purchased my first AMD rig (parts). I have gently (read - used auto settings) overclocked Intel in the past. It seems from reading some post here that 3900X overclocking is a more “hands-on” process. While reading Wendell’s post on this subject, I feel like I did when I opened my first Cal I exam. Over my head. Where should I start if I want to moderately overclock my new system? I need to learn all of the settings. Are there settings I can start with, or is it an all-or-nothing kind of thing?
