Running into problems getting 16x5090 on PCIe5.0x8 working on the TURIN2D24G-2L, stuck on 99 debug code. Works fine with 8 cards.
Any help or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Found a machine on vastai with 16x4090. It’s running bios version 11.09.SW01, anyone have the link for that? Waiting for asrock.
You should have plenty of pci-e lanes. Maybe check your bios configuration. I’ve been able to manage 14x 4070ti supers on a B550 desktop motherboard. Trying adding cards 1 at a time and see where it stops. May have power configuration issues to support that many cards?
Yeah have plenty lanes, so should work. Using mcio risers for the GPUs set to x8. Suspecting bios issues when trying to use them all at x8 lanes though.
You might want to try setting pci-e lanes to 1x and move up from there if it works. The pci-e lanes maybe reserved for other resources. If you’re just crunching numbers, you’ll only need pci-e 1x lanes where if you are rendering shaders and such would you need the extra band.
If you’re using any kind of extension cables and such, you’ll also run into issues. Not sure how heavily you’ll be utilizing the cards, but 16x with an average of 600 watts, 9600 watts ~ 120 amp with 80% overhead. Not your typical home circuit.
Only 43 amps in europe ![]()
I was basing on 120v in the US, so 60 amp at 230v in EU & that’s not including peak watts ![]()
Contact William at Asrock. You need their bios wizards to split the resource addressing up for your specific setup. Also, send pics
We need to see this technological terror you have constructed.
Is this issue similar to this?
