There's tons of guides online, but almost none have a sucess/failure rate of modding the rx 480 4gb to 8gb. Does anybody know if it's only reference and samsung memory only? I can't find any info on this. Even artificals "quoting" and using memoryinfo don't put out the 'Correct' versions that can be used. Any articles on this or brands would be welcomed.
It was just the first wave of 4GB models after that they were actual 4GB models. Maybe still some floating around ebay but your chances are very low now.
