Any point in setting up adaptive voltages for an oc when running with performance power plan?

I always turn the performance power plan on just incase those few nanoseconds of the cpu speeding up for a heavy task causes any slow down. I do not really care about the consumption. But, have been thinking about chip longevity. Obviously less voltage makes chips last longer. So, is there any point in turning adaptive voltages on with high performance on?

Yes. Lower voltages will entend the lifetime of the chip along plus you get lower heat output which can also increase how long the chp lasts.
