Any ideas how to remove a laptop lid logo?

I have been trying to remove this sticker for almost a year, razer blades cant get under it and the plastic on the underside will melt if i use heat.

EDIT: removed duplicate picture

since its gloss you could sand the whole lid, and then tape everything else off and paint it flat black

Are the letters glued on or are they an actual part of the lid? If glued, I’d try a heat gun with the smallest reducer I could find. If part of lid, then as previously suggested, sanding and repaint. I might try a router to knock the high spots down first.

I’m pretty sure it’s a part of the lid. I also have a lenovo laptop and the look apart of the lid.

its glued on, i tried a heat gun with what i have, it melted the supports for the display on the other side.

i think finding a smaller reducer sounds like my best bet, it didnt work last time but i was also very worried about the under side parts melting

the under side is also glued on

i ordered a replacement back that has the same sticker on it also

Buy a cheap wrap glue a first layer cutting out a space for the Lenovo logo to make the lid leveled. Than apply a second layer to cover everything up and you should have a smooth flat surface.

Just sticker bomb it. Every laptop I have had has been kept pristine for as long as possible. That first scratch, it get sticker bombed. My current one has a Star Wars theme, way better than stock.

Orbital sander.

very careful sanding, then paint/plastidip.

or if it’s just the color that’s bugging you, plastidip only (give it a try, peel off if you don’t like and nothing’s lost).
