In Windows, it’s easy to config gaming keyboards and mice. Is there any Macro/Settings Software or Config for Gaming Keyboard & Mice? Also, any drivers for major brands?
Theres opensource stuff around, surely. But its much easier to program buttons to generics, whether your g1 thru 12 keys can be their own f keys or if you have to set them up separately, and then make a shell script you run at boot.
If you have a gaming mouse/keyboard from Corsair or Razer (those 2 I can confirm) they each have their corresponding software: CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) and Razer Synapse in which you can create and manage macros/settings. I only ever used basic modifiers (Alt+/Shift+/Ctrl+) and media control buttons (play, pause, next title, etc), so I can’t say anything about how complex you can get (they do support delay inserts, though - like: key press + X seconds delay + key press).
For uh, for linux my dood.
Roccat has pretty good support for Linux http://roccat.sourceforge.net/
I’ve used the Tyon mouse on archlinux and had no problems.
Well, that’s embarrassing…
