Any Gaming Headset Recommendations?

Hey guys, I would like a good durable gaming headset, one with a good microphone because I may start a Youtube channel, and of course good audio quality is a priority my price range is  a max of 120$

Thanks!

I currently use the Logitech G35's. I really like that they use TRUE surround sound (multiple drivers per earphone). The sound is really nice, deep bass, crisp treble. I've had mine about 7 months now without any issues. Newegg and Amazon have them for about 90 bucks!

OR Newegg has them refurbished for only 60 bucks!

im still waiting for the release/reviews of the new BitFenix headset. it looks interesting. comes with a detachable mic, detachable cord, and is said to be great for music as well as games. but i have seen no word on it yet.

i have tried my cousins steelseries Siberia v2. i have wanted the green ones for a while now. they sell for $79, but ive seen them for like $50-$60 on some sites, if you are willing to compromise on color. some colors cost more.

one seller on ebay had the white or blue ones for $57 + free shipping, and it came with the steelseries 7.1 usb adapter/soundcard.

that's all i can comment on though, because that's the only gaming headset ive used lol. it's nice though. VERY comfy. retractable mic, so you can use it on the go and not look like a freak with a boom mic sticking out lol And the mic actually sounds good. my cousin uses it on skype and he sounds just fine.

Used a Logitech G35 for many years, fabulous headset but can hurt your ears if you've got a weird head, like me.

Picked up the Razer Kraken 7.1 yesterday for $89 just because I needed something cheap and nasty while travelling. But this has to be the most comfy and clearest headset I've ever used, I highly recommend it.

a gaming headset is not a good headset. you should look into v moda m100 (pricey), akg k550, sony mdr v6 etc. and hook it up with a mod mic http://www.modmic.com/. much better sound quality man.

With the Logitech G35's what is the microphone like? I'm in VOIP a lot and my current headset is getting some complaints. I like the ease of headsets vs stand mics, as I spend a lot of time idle in TS ect.
