Skullcandies are okay. they are decent if you like some mild bass. I've haven't used Skullcandies in years but, the thing that bothers me with them is, they have some high quality earphones, but they break so easily.
I am not very clued up when it comes to headphones, I am looking for a quality pair of earphones that have good sound and noise cancellation that will stay in my ear whilst in the gym. Without paying more money that the 40 pounds my ipod stuffle cost haha
my ''out and about, long walks, commute etc..'' headphones journey ....
had a pair of skullcandy headphones... and they weren' t super cheap... broke after 3 weeks use. had a pair of wesc similar priced headphones, broke after a few months. had a pair of sennheiser px 200's ...they ..lasted...but finally broke.
so now, for headphones that i use outside i just want earbuds...so i can enjoy my music and no one around me is bothered and i can't break stuff easily ( i don't, i have monitor headphones i've been using for almost 15 years)
so yeah, these. I listen to a lot of bass heavy music, these are great for that when you're outside, they cancel out surrounding noise enough and give you some bass oomph. Also, they are CHEAP.
i don't see why i would spend more than 30 on earbuds anyways.
If you've grown to prefer the sound quality of Apple buds than skull candies are comparable. Personal opinion; they are overpriced for the sound quality. Decent inexpensive headphones are attainable.
Just so you know all skull candy headphone not wireless have a lifetime testamentary only problem is you jave to send the broken pair in and after receiving them them they email you a coupon to buy a different or same pair. But I found customer service was great.
I would not buy them, they tend to break easily, I have had two pairs both stop functioning, one was at the base of the speaker and my current ones have an issue at the 3.5mm jack. they work okay but seem to break within a year. I would have to agree with @corrnata
