Does anyone know or can check compatibility on their own board? Asus probably has some but i’d also like to know if MSI’s MPG X670E CARBON WIFI could do it. Thanks!
Check the product page on MSI’s web site, it should tell you if it supports bifurction and on which PCIe slot/slots.
My ASUS board supports this BUT ONLY on the primary/first PCIe x16 slot.
I did check it and it doesn’t mention bifurcation. All it mentions is that you can use the top and middle pcie slot in a duel x8 config
Hmm, did you download the PDF manual and confirm if it mentions it there or not ?
Seems strange that it isn’t supported even on the primary PCIe slot.
The gigabyte itx board I reviewed in the jonesbo supports it.

This spreadsheet does have some notes in the right most column about bifurcation support:
AMD alllows it, it depends whether the board veendor opens up this option in the bios.
I can confirm that the Gigabyte B650I Aorus Ultra and the ASUS X670E ProArt both support it.
