Hmm. Well I would like to see more (like the spin-off you mentioned), but Iâm very happy that it had a legitimate and really well executed ending.

Good endings with the right amount of closure are very hard to come by.
Then again, the damn ongoing anime kind of set the precedent for never ending or endings that are bad. Also some anime are just advertisements to purchase manga/LN/VN

I thought that too, Fairy Tail pulled crap like that and ruined some of the emotional heights of the series

well you also have endings where it wraps up what is necessary to the story and any other stuff is ancillary and getting closure to that point doesnât help the story

Yeah, if they didnât it wouldnât have been nearly as emotional. TBH when they started talking about saving him I was a bit disappointed.
