Android on an iPhone?

This might be a very stupid question to ask but is it possible to get android 5.0 lollipop on an iPhone running iOS 8?

No, not really

Noooooooo it is not. When do people learn to think, or use Google?

That was helpful, I'm glad you took the time to post it.

Well.. to be honest, it would really take the op to enter "Android on iPhone" in a search bar to find out the answer...

Oh come on. Even if you know only the tiniest bit about smartphones, and that I expect of visitors of this forum, you would know that this is not possible. Even if you don't know it, it would take about 0.1 seconds to Google it.

Edit: I just remembered this from when I still had an iPhone 3g: http://www.hackthatphone.com/3x/android_on_the_iphone_2g_or_3g.html

So yeah, back then it was possible. If you still have an ancient iPhone you can run Android on it.

thanks for the feedback?

True, but even posting a link to "let me Google that for you" would be a better response than dbhuis posting what is basically a youtube comment. Hell, TacoBell posted a interesting link that shows you can... kinda.

Should the OP have just gone to Google then asked if anyone knew a way while providing the knowledge gained from that search, because Google is not all knowing, yes I think so. However, maybe the op hasn't read the forum rules, post them with a reminder that you should always Google first and ask second. If you don't, you are kinda just complaining, don't you think?

LMGTFY links are lame. You know what is helpful? People that educate themselves, and everyone should do that. That's the only thing I wanted to make clear to the OP.
