Android antimalware question (malwarebytes as second?)

I have avast internet security on my phone and it works well, but I am wondering if I can run malwarebytes with it? On windows it is preferred to use malwarebytes as a ondemand scanner (second line of defense). I saw that the android version allowed for on demand and you can disable scheduled. So is it safe to run avast android and malwarebytes android together? I have a g4...

Mainly I have a device for pics and videos (the fapping kind), and am probably just over paraniod. I dont install anything with one exception outside of the play store. This being adblock plus after it was removed from the play store.

Android authority did a test to see which anti-virus did the best on android.
